The song you linked is horrid. That nasty sounding pop jook is just awful. This 50 cent song is much better.
The singles were the only listenable bits of Recovery. The rest of it is badly produced and forgettable with some really embarrasing lyricism on some of the tracks. Can't believe he actually sampled Haddaway.

Oh sweet, generic rap with crappy lyrics! That song sucks and so does 50 Cent.
The singles were way overplayed and some of the weaker tracks on the album.
No Love was a phenominal track BTW.
Anybody who sings the praises of Recovery shouldn't be talking about generic rap. The beats on Recovery are the definition of generic. They don't make an impression at all. They're just there. Eminem's voice drowns out all the drab production.
The singles were not the weaker tracks. The first two singles were the only tracks that made any sort of impression, even if they were a bit too poppy.
I don't know what to tell somebody who thinks that No Love was a phenomenal track. That track was kind of embarrasing IMO.
Also, you shouldn't really be talking about crappy lyrics when Recovery has such lines as:
Hit a blind man with a coloring book and told him color inside the lines or get hit with a flying crayon.Eminem
you couldnt make a belemic puke on a piece of fvcking corn and peanut poop.Eminem
Embarrasing.
Pull at it all stops, any who touch a mic prior'sNot even Austin Powers, how the **** are they Mike MeyersAnd tell that psycho to pass the torchTo the whacko before I take a **** in his Jack-O-LanternAnd smash it on his porch, now get off my dick
Dick's too short a word for my dickGet off my antidisestablishmentarianism, you prickYou call me the champ, call me the space shuttle destroyerI just blew up the Challenger, matter fact I need a lawyerI displaced my clause with enough plaster to make a castBeat his ass naked and peed in his corner like Verne Troyer
You're the Eminem backwards, you're mini-meEminem
That word play. Recovery was great, I admit the beats were not that amazing, but I thought the record as a whole was great.
