Would Mega Pokemon in Smash Bros Work?

Do you guys think Mega Pokemon would work as playable characters in Smash Bros? If so, which one (s) should Sakurai consider?

Mega Mewtwo

Mega Lucario

Mega Blaziken

I could certainly see them as an element of the appropriate Pokemon's Final Smash, but I think this concept is too new to be introduced as entire characters.

I'd bet there will be a new pokemon in the roster (replacing Lucario who had replaced Mewtwo) who has a mega evolution but hasn't been introduced yet.

My money would be on it being Zoroark with a unannounced megaevo as his final smash since both Mewtwo and Lucario had their own films making Zoroark the next in line. After Zoroark I'd guess Meloetta for the same reasons as Zoroark or a X/Y gen pokemon. I'd doubt Mewtwo or Lucario will show up since one was to replace the other and in a way set a trend. I wouldn't complain if either of them did return though!

I'm honestly hoping these "mega" things will be used as minimally as possible. I feel like they're messing with Pokemon too much... if it's not broken, don't fix it. New Pokemon and a new region is interesting enough to keep fans intrigued, no need for this Super Saiyan bogus.

Only Mega Blaziken/Lucario/Mewtwo. I don't think Absol would fit very well. However if I had to choose one I would go with Mewtwo.

Sakurai, the developer of smash bros, already expressed interesting in using Mega Mewtwo. I think we can expect to see him, at least as a final smash. I personally hope he is a playable character in his own and not a final smash for regular Mewtwo.

I would love to see Mega Mewtwo make it onto the roster, or give a pokemon like Zorark a shot at the spotlight :D
