OBJECTION!
If you look closely at the provided evidence, you could see that date stamped on the article reads April 2nd, 2007. This could mean that within that time, the project couldve been cancelled, or they mean to bring over Rock Band 2. Case Closed.

OBJECTION! Here is evidence proving that it still isnt official and that it is merely speculation...nothing more, straight from the website itself!:
Overview:
The Wii version of the latest musical craze is still yet to be officially commented on, but word has come up, and it's worth a mention. With the huge success of Guitar Hero III on Wii thus far, we expect EA to bring this multiplayer-focused band experience to Wii later this year. Downloadable content may be tricky, but the potential for Wii-specific motions or peripherals is definitely there.
[QUOTE="Arkthemaniac"]No DLC access on the Wii.Jaysonguy
False
Guitar Hero will have it, no reason Rock Band couldn't join in.
They've been saying they'd add it since October but we still don't have any solid date. I doubt we'll ever get it.
