DS games aren't compatible with WPA (or anything higher) security, only WEP security. Nintendo DSi systems can connect and use it for the DSi Shop and any DSi features, but for DS games it won't work. Look it up on google.

Yes, DSi enhanced games work with WPA. Games like HGSS and D/P/Pt don't though.
And your SSID is what your router is called. Use the auto-search function from the system settings (for B/W) or the in-game one in the main screen (HGSS D/P/Pt) to do it.
For HGSS D/P/Pt, you need to change your security from WPA to WEP. Go to your router settings, usually just go to routerlogin.net, to do that.
