Who is excited about Chrono Trigger DS? And who has played the emulator version(SNESS or NES or PS) ore the real version of the game (PS or SNESS not emulators).

The only other version of the game that I own is the PS1 version that came with Chronicles. Because it's laggy and not portable, I am extremely excited about CTDS.
I am excited about it too. I remember when I was younger I played that game on the SNESS emulator fore weeks(I took my time on it), good times good times.
I'm a bit ashamed of this, but I've never played it at all....
Didn't really get into console gaming till a few years ago, I was a PC gamer all through Uni. That said I can't wait for CTDS to come out, and will definitely be getting it. Now SE just has to do FFVII for the DS and translate Sigma Harmonics to English and I'll be happy :)

It came out at the right time when it came out in 1995. I would have to say that was square softs golden age of when everything was at their best. I cannot wait.
i was excitied, then i took a look at my SNES version and ps1 version of the game, and decided im not buying the same game 3 times. Maybe i would pick it up if it were cheaper, but SE has to price all there DS games at $40. They are the only company that sells DS games for $40, pisses me off:evil:
I going to buy it when it comes out, no doubt about that. I just doubt if I can wait! So, yes I am excited that it will come out for the ds. Im just curious why they didn't make into 3D.Nostalgia? I don't got a problem with them keeping it original, but I thought they would make it 3D like the early FF games coming out on ds like FF3 and 4. Come on, it would be cool if they did.

Here's the funny thing: it's on my Christmas list this year. But my parents, or anyone else in my extended family for that matter, have no idea that its a 13yo game. Whoever may buy it for me will think it's a brand new game, unless it says on the back somewhere "Thirteen year old classic reborn on the Nintendo DS!" Otherwise, I'll get away with asking for a $40 game that mostly everyone has played to death for years already.

lol to me $40.00 is like $20.00. If you own a xbox360 or a ps3 you would understand.

yea im sure $40.00 is alot if all you play are handheld games. To me that is like $20.00 cause I pay $60.00 somtimes $70.00 on a xbox360 game. Althou the games I get are well worth the payment:)
