So I've decided I need the updated DS Lite and was wondering what kind of deal I would get if I traded it in at a Gamestop for a new Lite? Also is it worth it, I've really started playing my DS lately.

DO NOT trade it in at Gamestop. This is what you do- Sell your old DS, use the left over money to buy a DS Lite. OR you can just keep the old DS for memory's sake and save up for a DS Lite.

Right now if you trade an old DS toward a new DS Lite the new DS Lite is $89.99 instead of $129.99. Normally you don't get that much, but there's a promotion running. If your original DS works just fine I don't really see the point of getting a new one. There are more accessories for the DS Lite but that's not really all that important. The brighter screens are more aesthetically pleasing, yes, but it's not a necessary upgrade.
