-Superb one player adventure mode, with less generic fights(because there is separate modes for that) and more platforming. Kind of Super Mario World (4) with fighting.

-New levels and more variation in them. Last Smash bros. games had too many little arenas that were too similar. Couple more levels with Hyrule Castle caliber. All loaded with interactivity.

-Something cool physics trickery

You've got a point there, Varoen nauraa but a level editor? Nah not gonna happen. More variation in the levels would be great. Although I wouldn't mind if they didn't make the single-player mode better. It's just that the game isn't suppose to be played alone. It's just not fun. U play through the single-player modes to unlock new characters. That's all there's to it. I hope all characters are automatically unlocked to begin with. Or that it's possible to unlock them by playing the game in multi-player.

A demo via Wii Shop Channel? Man I would even pay for a chance to play a demo of SSBB.

12+ player Royal Rumble-style online mode... and what everyone said above.TDLlama

and having 2nd Party characters like

Magical Starsign characters (actually that is 1st Party)

Monolith Software Characters

maybe Maple Story characters (since Nexon is a 2nd Party)

they could put Geist in there as well since Nintendo owns the rights to the Characters.

I'm guessing the announcement will be of new characters, and probably a new trailer showcasing the controls or some new feature.

I hope they officially announce online for the game, and perhaps a playable demo (Disc probably, but I wish by download)

I hope they don't rush too much. I wouldn't mind waiting till early 08 if the other big 2 come out and ssbb is the best :P

I want them to anounce that it will be using the GC controler as an option and it comes with a free GC controler :P

Yes, bigger arenas would be better... and lag could be a potential problem, but think of the chaos.  However, there are going to be numerous multiplayer modes so I'll be happy without it, actually.

I thought I'd throw in something unique and unnecessary, hehe.
