sonic rpg cancelled?

No chance whatsoever that it will be cancelled.

EA is one of Nintendo's biggest supporters this gen and just because they're buying Bioware doesn't mean that the company still wont work on it's projects it has planned.

Just because Sonic Team can't get their ass in gear and make a decent game with their mascot, doesn't mean everyone else can't. Especially when the ones working on it are already well-known for making great games. Just because it's an RPG based off of a platformer, it doesn't mean it's neccessarily going to be a bad game.

I'm calling it out right now and i know im being a bit bold, but it will be the greatest ds game EVER MADE! bioware is one of the best game developers in the world. just look at their history of great games. Sonic RPG= best future ds game

Definatly, and we'll see it sooner and less polished aswell. I strongly dislike EA and if they start ruining Bioware titles then they'll be the first company hated by me.

They had a game known as'new handheld game' in their gamelist for a long time so they've been working on it for a while now. I'm not really excited about it, doesn't seem like the kind of RPG that Bioware usually makes. It's great that they are trying but they have so many other projects that just seem more interesting.

Not cancelled. It's still in the works. I read it somewhere that it is.

Also, the deal with EA won't merge until Jan 2008, so Bioware still has tons of time to make the game.

Sonic RPG will happen...but a sequel probably not, at least not with BioWare.
