Hi, Can i use the classic controller on RE4 Wii Edition?

Because on the back of the case there is no sign that says classic controller compatible.

Thanks.

Yes, it works with the classic controller. As well as the gamecube controller. Just plug it in and start playing. The game will automatically switch back to the old controls, with the laser even reappearing.

Doesn't on mine, Just shows a Wii Remote & Nunchuck, 50Hz & 60Hz Modes & EDTV/HDTV Support.

you can, i played with that on my second playtrough, however for my 3,4 and even 5th playtroughs I played wiimote plus nunchuck, IMO motion controls are better just for the better aiming

It does show a CC on my North American copy, but box art and the markings on them can be radically different between regions. And Capcom did leave off the Gamecube controller here, despite it being compatible as well.

kinda defeats the point of owning the Wii version. Why not just get a Gamecube controller and the GC version?

The Wii versions has the extra content originally introduced in the PS2 port.

Along with the better graphics and sound of the GC version, plus better widescreen support. There are a few new tweaks as well; the Wii version is the best edition available so far without question.
