It's impossible for FF13 to come on Wii because of the game engine it runs on. A sequel to Chrono Trigger is highly unlikely because they already have Chrono Cross. A new Level 5 game is possible, but I haven't heard of anything new from them recently.
Personally I can't think of anything from a series, so it's probably something totally brand new. Or maybe it's just a bluff, who knows.
hopefully its Super Mario RPG 2Lunar52
Now thats a game i will definaly will like to see, also throw in some final fantasy things like in the first super mario rpg.
Well, here's what is says in the "NEXT MONTH" page of NP Feb 2008:
"Next month's cover story is an RPG so fantastic, so engrossing, so epic, and so hush-hush that we'd have to erase your memories if we told you what it is. In fact, maybe we already did. Role-playing fans, get ready for a big one."
Hmm, are there any RPGs or other games that involve erasing memories? That may be a clue.

we already know what factor five is doing..... a new kid icarus... there was a post about it a couple days ago.
Hoping for something along these lines.
A sequel to Chrono Trigger / Chrono Cross... or the two of them in a complimation.
A sequel to Super Mario RPG.
FFVII
[QUOTE="DaLegendKilla92"]Kingdom Hearts on the DS!!! Voila.jjr10
Already being made.
I know, but there will probably be more Coverage or stuff like that. You feel me.......[QUOTE="Minishdriveby"]This may be a really big stretch but maybe some info on the new Animal Crossing?lenson
Thing is animal crossing isn't an rpg.
it can be categorized as one, I still think of it as a sim, and thats why i said "really big stretch"...

There's Factor 5 and then there's Level 5. :P
People are talking about "erasing memories", and thinking of games that had a character who lost their memory or something.
BUT, what if they were using a play on words? What I mean is, they could be talking about games that "erased" your "memory" card data.
With that in mind, here are some possible games that had infamous memory card erasing glitches (the following comes from this site):
Final Fantasy VI - Relm Sketch Glitch: This infamous bug, triggered by using Relm's sketch command under certain conditions, *might* erase your game... or it could max your hitpoints to 9999, fill your inventory with secret items and turn Edgar into the fallen hero Leo (Too soon? Should I have given a spoiler warning?), making this the ultimate game glitch for thrill seekers. Square fixed the Relm Sketch bug in Final Fantasy 3 v1.1 for SNES and later remakes, but what's the fun in that?
Pokemon Blue: The Masters of Connectivity at Nintendo simultaneously released two Pokémon: Fushigi no Dungeon games: Red for GBA and Blue for DS. Naturally, Nintendo rewarded gamers for playing Blue with Red plugged into the DS's GBA port... but no one expected to be punished for playing with anything else. That's right, Pokémon Blue erases your GBA saves if they are "unrelated" to Pokémon.
So there you go, two possible RPGs.
maybe is teh level 5 thingy finally being reveal....
agree with someone above.... i REALLY doubt is FF13

Umm... I think the joke was supposed to be that maybe they told you what the game was and then erased your memory already...
Anyway, I think it'll be a new IP.

I know, I'm just speculating like everyone else. Since nobody knows what the real secret is, technically my post is just as valid as anyone else's.
hey how come the wii cant get FF Xlll?awptimisticim guessing you havent seen the engine it runs on, otherwise you'd know that it would be impossible for it to run on wii.
this is supposedly an in-game shot. im leaning towards that it is, since there is a HUD and whatnot.
