New Metroid Game

I don't know about the rest of you, but recently, I've really been wanting a new side-scrolling Metroid game. I know we've seen the DS is capable of putting out a great first-person Metroid game, but we haven't had a side-scrolling Metroid since Zero Mission (2004), and who didn't like Zero Mission (or Fusion for that matter). Both of those were terrific and I'd just like to see another at some point.

Who else agrees on the idea? Share your thoughts.

Of course! But will Nintendo do it or not? Right now, we don't know. Like Metroid Other M, they might shock us out of the blue and announce something. Nintendo did once say they're working on Metroid Dread. But who knows what's going on with that.ASK_Story

wait i thought that was just a rumor and that nintendo never intended to even start "project dread"

I definetly think it would be a great idea for a new Metroid game!I really hope it can be better than Hunters

I for one, loved Hunters, and I would be ecstatic about another amazing first person shooter with great multiplayer for the DS/DSi!

P.S. I don't really like side scrollers.
