I have Lego Star Wars: the Complete Saga, and I plan on getting Lego Indiana Jones. I enjoy Lego Star Wars because it is family friendly, is easy to get into, has a lot of action, has a little puzzle solving, has good single player and multi-player cooperation modes, and the cinematic cut scenes are often humorous. After reflecting on these things I would like to see other Lego video games made. My question for you is: If you could have a Lego video game made based on a book, cartoon, movie, or TV series that has not already been done what would would your suggestions be?

Below is a list of some Lego video game suggestions from an old thread:

Alien vs. Predator

Back to the Future

Buffy the Vampire Slayer

Dragon Ball Z

Green Lantern

Iron Man

James Bond

Jurassic Park

Power Rangers

Spiderman

The Lord of the Rings

X-Files

X-Men

My Suggestions:

Aladdin

Dungeons and Dragons

Pirates of the Caribbean

Robin Hood

The Hobbit

The Lord of the Rings

New Suggestions:

The Fast and the Furious

Other Suggestions:

Lego MyEggo

Rabbids

Spiderman would be the best choice. They already came out with Spiderman sets, plus there are three movies, so it would be easier to split it up into three levels.

Before you decide whether a subject would make a good Lego game, you need to decide if that subject would make good Lego sets. In that long list, a lot of those things don't seem to make sense. Take Back to the Future, for instance. What Lego sets would there be: the Delorean, Biff's car, Griff's car, Dr. Brown's van, the courthouse? That's not a lot of sets.

Spiderman is my favorite superhero. They really did a great job with those movies, and Lego would have a lot of good source material. I am wondering if making a Lego Spiderman in the tradition of the current Lego games would be a problem since he does so much web slinging? Also, would there be enough supporting characters for him for multi-player?

Some of the choices might be more limited than others, and not all of the choices appeal to me personally. It's been a long time since I watched the Back to the Future movies, but I know one of them has a wild west theme.

A Lord of the Rings Lego game seems like such an obvious choice it makes me wonder why it has not been done yet?

Like another user said, Spiderman would be the safest approach. Once Spiderman 4 is released into theaters, they should bring back the Spiderman sets, and develop a video game for Lego Spiderman. ;)

In all fairness to the others I did narrow the subject a little to books, cartoons, movies, and TV series. ;) Nice Rayman/Rabbid picture though.

how about simply Lego Adventure?

I think they had two lego adventure games a while ago and they were nuts. It could be called Lego Adventure 3 or something. Maybe it could also incorporate the racing and vehicle use from Lego Racers.

The Lego games don't need to be based off of franchises, there could simply be a Lego game using the game mechanics that they have full freedom with.

Not at a bad idea at all. Just curious...what genre within action/adventure do you like most? Ancient, Medieval, Western, Modern, Future, Fantasy, Sci-Fi?

Of the ones you have listed, my votes would go to Aliens vs. Predator and D&D. And maybe something that would just seem wrong yet hilarious in a Lego context (kind of like AVP), like... Dead Space or something. But whatever it would be, I want it to have a *#&$ level editor like LSW3 was supposed to have!

"The Mummy" might be a fun storyline for a lego game.

Personally, I dunno about you lot, but I would much rather prefer an inhouse Lego Classic idea: Like Lego Johnny Thunder meeting Indiana Jones.
