Metroid Fusion HD in the style of Metroid: Other M

I know the dialogue in Metroid: Other M (more specifically on the part of Samus) was horrid. HORRID. However, Team Ninja did a fantastic job with turning Metroid into a 3D, 3rd person adventure. I really liked "sensemove" and the combat in general, especially the boss fights.

Anywho, ever since I laid hands on that game (which is brilliant if you skip most of the cutscenes) I thought it would be awesome if there was an HD remake of Metroid Fusion in the style of Other M. It would be a great title for the Switch, since the Joycon controller looks like it's capable of the same controls as what were used in Other M.

Thoughts?

Would be pretty sweet. Metroid Other M catches a lot of unnecessary internet hate. The game is actually pretty good though.

Gameplay is outstanding.

But you know people cry about everything staying the same, then when they try something different they shit on that too.

Other M is quite good to be honest and gets unwarranted heat.

Please no. Other M was a fun experiment but it took the series in the wrong direction. They should make a new game, as the poster above me said.

I think peoples' response to Federation Force was downright horrid, so I don't blame the teams that work on Metroid for not wanting to do anything other than a new first-person or sidescrolling Metroid game next. They tried something different, and people hated it. I still want to try it and see for myself. The soccer game thing is kind of fun. I was surprised to learn that Sylux makes a cameo, since it raised my hopes for a Metroid game that ties together elements from the various games.

Other M was absolutely great!!! Voice acting and all. Not sure why people hate it but love fusion which borderline was the same thing.

Other M was different but I loved it. The action was fantastic and was everything I'd expect from a 2D/3D platformer
