I like that the indie devs are excited to get their games on the Wii U eShop.

Anything's better than the Wii's online shop, so even though it's just two devs speaking out it's still good news. Although not surprising, as even Nintendo couldn't go on with the Wii Shop mentality - it was incredibly ill conceived with profit restrictions on low sales, ridiculous file limits, and so on.

Nice to hear such a positive comment from an indie point of view. I hope they make it so lots of devs put their games on the WiiU. I heard there were problems with Wii and Dsi.

I think the fact that Nintendo is putting so much focus on Miiverse tells me that they have finally understood the importance of having a great online service to their fans, so I am sure the benefits will extend to the shop and other online features.

I hope its better. The wii shop looks like a bare bones relic of a shop. That has never seen an update

it doesnt seem like either developer knows much about the service. the first one just wanted to be in on it, whatever it is. the second one feels encouraged by the 3DS shop (which i guess is something) but is mum on the wii u shop.

i really do hope that the wii u shop turns into something special for a variety of different project sizes, but all i feel confident in so far is that the games wont be so restricted in size.
