Hardest Nintendo Game You've Played?

Inspired by the topic "Easiest Nintendo game played".

I would say the hardest Nintendo game I have ever played, F-Zero GX on the gamecube. I just can't finish the last story mission in freaking normal mode, let alone the expert difficulties in grand prix.

Ok, so I don't know why, but I can't seem to beat Excite Truck 100%.

I haven't played it in a while, but I think it was because I could never get enough stars AND get first place at the same time.

The hardest, I would have to say Where's Mario or Mario in Time.

I was young when I played those, didn't really understand it.

Since I just made the "Easiest Nintendo game played" topic, I was thinking about making the Hardest Nintendo game played" topic, but you made it before me.

I would definitely agree that F-Zero GX is the hardest Nintendo game I've ever played. I've only beaten one grand prix on master mode and I can only come in 2nd place in the other cups. I can also only beat one mission on hard mode. It's insanely difficult.

Metroid Prime Hunters. It was hard cause I couldnt touch the flippin screen to shoot unlike the damn demoair_wolf_cubed

My hardest game would probably be Donkey Kong Country 2 Diddy's Kong Quest.

Id say Battle Toads, especially since the beat em up action was so much fun, it just sucked u in. That game was just ridiculous.

I have to say F-Zero X on N64. The hand level is impossible.

Yeah Battletoads was very difficult and I also find rhythm games like guitar hero and elite beat agents really hard so I avoid them.

I don't know why anyone has not said Donkey Kong for ARC.

Only two people have ever made it to the final level (kill screen), Billy Mitchell and Steve Wiebe (watch King of Kong).

I think F-Zero GX was only really hard in Story Mode. I completed it, but I could only finish a couple of the missions on hard or very hard mode. The Grand Prix mode wasn't that hard I think. The track is more of an opponent than the 29 other racers most of the time, so if you could get around that completing all GPs in master difficulty certainly wasn't impossible.

As for the hardest game, I'm not sure. Of course NES games are usually hard as hell, but I remember finding it extremely difficult to get everything in Lylat Wars as it didn't have mission select, which is why I never did get every medal.
