I've got 3 steps that may help you solve your problem.

1.) enter http://192.168.1.1/ in your web browser and push enter. If this takes you to your router page, find where to change the channel and change it to either channel 1 or channel 11. Experiment with both, most likely one will work much better than the other. If this does not take you to your router page then you'll have to find the site on your own i dont know any other way.

2.)Make a new connection and search for access point. (You cannot use your old access point now that you have a new channel for your router )

3.)  Go to the internet settings on your wii. Go to the liscense agreement and agree to it. I know you've probably done this before, but you need to try it again. It sucks but just do it. Every time you update your wii until nintendo takes care of this, you're going to have to do this.

Hopefully.... Enjoy.

some people dont have trouble on the channels between 1 and 11. However, most often if you're having a connection problem switching to one of the other two will solve it.

As for the USB connector, I don't recommend it. It's a neat idea but mine died within a year of moderate use. By the time it died it was too late for the warrenty. Also, it gets very hot with prolonged use so if you plan on using it a lot you should be careful.

Telling from the posts it seems the router is the problem and I'll check this out at my friends next week. Thanks.
