How about you refrain from being so condescending in the future? :|
check out all the specs for nintendo dsi here: www.cerebronews.comSwiftZeRoNice writeup, but it doesn't answer whether the DSi supports any newer Wifi security protocols.
...hrm, pokemon and guitar hero would become redundant, butr hay I got 2 ds's (a phat from japan which is graphite black, and a lite black) so prehaps I would update once more...
Though it would mean the dsi would stay at home more, I play gba games AND ds games when I'm out and about, I swap between the 2, clocks games faster alternating :)
The DSi does not have a GBA slot and it isn't small enough to warrant that decision if you ask me. The dang thing is WIDERthan the current DS Lite now. Fact.ZumaJones07
Yeah? So the DSi is wider and thinner?

Looking at the spec at the Nintendo website www.nintendo.co.uk/NOE/en_GB/news/2008/nintendo_introduces_dsi_9691.html it's certainly not enough to make me upgrade. It has lost the GBA slot. Is that a problem though as the DS games are generally superior to the GBA games? Don't get me wrong, GBA had some great games and I still have one of my GBAs (yes I had three - one for work, one for home and one for the handbag) but the graphics etc on the DS are superior. The DSi though does seem to be trying to evolve into something else - a cross between a gamestation and an iPod/MP3 player or something?
Perhaps one day our iPod, mobile phone, gamestation, laptop and camera will all be integrated into one single unit. Only question is, how big/small will it be and how often will we be tempted to upgrade? Think of the backup and restore every time you change your PC? What do you think?
GBA slot is gone in DSi.
Some guess we may buy GBA games for DSi in online stop to play. But I doubt. It's because the device which is to run GBA games is removed. I don't think it can run straight from the DSi itself.
Even if we can run GBA games in DSi, we have to buy the same game twice simply to run on DSi. It's no so nice for us, Nintendo.
As far as I know, it seems DSi still supports what DS Lite supports. In other words, there is no enhacement in Wi-Fi security.

Annimation
Not only that, you lose some gameplay because some DS games interacts with the GBA games.
