Did anyone get the red 3DS yet?

So it came out today. I've been waiting for the red one since launch, but I'm not getting it until after the conference or whatever on September 13th, just to be safe. Who knows, maybe Nintendo will surprise us again. So did any of you get it, does it have any small issues like the launch 3DS's? (i.e. loose hinge, leaving marks on the top screen when closed, etc)

I'll probably may get it after the conference hopefully they'll release the purple 3ds.

The red one looks pretty slick, but I'm holding out for a white one to match the Wii U.

I got the the red 3DS today brand new and shipped from Amazon. It's defenitely a nice color but those same problems still exists. The marks from the bottom screen are still there and the hinge is a little loose but not too bad. I think this screen issue should have been fixed already but I guess Nintendo has no plans or refuses to rectify this issue. Guess I'm gonna have to keep that foam sheet that comes with the system between the screens.

Do you guys slam down your 3ds screen after use? I've had mine for a couple of months, and there's not a single sign of imprints on the top screen from the bottom screen.

I have noticed the lines from the bottom screen on the top screen but it really isnt a big deal.

Same with me. I just grab a Kleenex and wipe the mark off lol.

No, I don't slam down the screen at all. Some people have this issue and others don't. I noticed on mine that I only get the marks on the right side of the upper screen and not on both sides like most people do.mike85225

From what I understand (I have no proof or links or anything like that) the 3DS has the loose hindge problem because that way it is harder for the top screen to snap off of the 3DS. Which from what I remember, some people experienced with the DSi and DSi xl (I am unsure about the lite and phate).

But anyway, I doubt any physical problems that the 3DS has will be fixed until an actual hardware revision hits store selves.

Nah, I like mine black. The original was good enough for me.

If the launch units had any defects I'm sure they were fixed prior to that nasty cinnamon 3DSistuffedsunny

The only way I can avoid getting those marks on my screen is if I close it as slowly as humanly possible. If it makes any kind of noise, i've already marked the screen. Shame they've not fixed that on the red 3ds.Raiko101

Red? Pfft, it's all about the Pink 3DS, noobs.

after the first announcment of the two launch colors I was hyping the blue one, it looks awesome in the pics... until I saw it in person. It was nothing like it seemed in the pics. It was more of a greenish blue and not vibrant at all. So I went with the Cosmic Black and havent regretted it. Hopefully the Red one is as it seemed in its images.

Call me plain i just want a black 3ds cause my first ds lite was black.
