deleting vc games

i have a link to the past and im pretty far in it. lets say i delete it and redownload it. will it still have my file or will it be as if it were new?

No, I tryed. It just deletes the game (but to be sure just put the game save on to a SD card then take the SD out of the Wii. :D

     You can delete the channel without it screwing up your save data.  But if you delete your save data, you will ALWAYS have to start all over again.  I'm fairly sure this is why the Wii has a seperate file for channels and save states.

I agree with the above poster. Your save data and channel data are kept seperately, so just don't delete your save data and I believe you should be fine.

so far everything is like that i had to delet my internet channle and re download it and it kept my favirtes :}
