As for DR2 not coming to wii,I'm not suprised the least. As for not purchasing DR Wii, I say, why not? From the looks of it, its just another crappy port that their throwing out their for some quick cash!

I can see were they are comming from but it just seems kinda harsh to me.

I am not going to lie, but who didn't see this coming? The game looks like a PS2 title if you ask me, fewer dudes on screen than RE4, and it has ps2 graphics. But then again RE4 for the Wii was also made just to make extra cash. Just like Okami, Twilight Princess and the many other Remakes coming soon like Pikmen and Mario Tennis.

Are youbeing serious??, this month only are like 5 hardcore games, 3 of which received 8 and above...and they are all 3rd party games. also dont forget about the upcoming ones(also 3rd party), such as:Madworld,The conduit, Dead Space, and EA said that they will be Bringing Many Games this year to the Wii (half of all their Games!!!)

and how can you say that Monster hunter will be a Flop?, from the little info given it seems that it will be a Great game + it has good graphics and Online.

as for Dead Rising, Capcom is just being Stupid...not taking the time to develop DR2 OR RE5 for the Wii, just because they will have less graphics. RE5 can be done for the Wii IMO, just scale down to a point where it looks Just as Or even better than RE4(possible)

Zack and Wiki was loved by many, it did not suck IMO. Mega Man 9 was made to look old-school, surely you're not that naive. Spyborg was called back into the dog house to be redesigend because of fan outcry against it. someone was listening to the fans. Okami would have sucked it nor for so and so? Well then that means it didn't suck because it had so and so. That's like saying Shaq would suck if he were three feet tall. And unles you're a pyschic, we don't know how Monster Hunter 3 will turn out.

Hopefully fan reaction to Dead Rising will snap Capcom out of it.

You have to take a quote like this with a grain of salt. We don't know what context it was taken from. Sarcasm also doesn't translate well in written form. He is right, Capcom is a business and the purpose of a business is to make money. While Clover Studios received a lot of atta boys, they weren't able to make a large enough of a profit to remain viable.

to be honest.. Is that statement a surprise?? I`m actually happy that finally (at least the 1st I heard) is opening saying that. I :lol: when I read it. And I was buying the game, now I`m going to buy it even more. This is a business and if you could you would do the same. enjoy gaming...

EDIT: oh and of course the 2nd is not coming to Wii... at least no yet. they have to see (make sure) this one would go well... If you have being selling apples in 2 town would you go and put a grocery store on a 3rd one before testing if you would at least sell apples?? in case you are thinking that, no you would not.

I'm boycotting Capcom until further notice. I loved Zack and Wiki, and I loved Mega Man 9. But what they're doing to Dead Rising Wii, Resident Evil 5, and Street Fighter IV is unacceptable. colecoavenger

And just what are they doing to them? If you mean not porting them to the Wii then you are only denying yourself any awesome capcom games that come along.

It makes no sense for them to port them when they would have to completely change the way the games look and play because of the hardware differences. Capcom make brilliant games for all the systems but you can not expect them to make those kinds of changes to their games. I say let them make different games that utilize the potential of the systems they are on. I love Wii but I don't own it so I can play the same games that go to ps3 and 360 that isn't what the wii is best at.

It's really stupid how you guys are getting mad at Capcom. I mean Nintendo's doing the same thing if you didn't notice. Zelda-ported from GC, Pikmen-ported from GC, Mario Tennis ported from GC and the list will go on. These games have nothing changed in them other than controls.

Seeing as how Dead Rising 1 hasn't even been on the Wii either, I don't know what people were expecting.

The Wii can't have everyything.

Street Fighter IV has been totally casualized. They took what was great about Street Fighter III, and reverted it back to Street Fighter II to make it more accessible. I am a serious fan of fighting games, and to see the parry system from SFIII gone is sickening.colecoavenger

You do realise that fighthing games were a dying breed? ppl like you & me ...they decide to made it more accessible to gain more crowd & it seems to be the case. SF3 was very complex (not to us) to avg gamer & even puts them off it. Now its gaining momentum again..understand that they had to go back to the basics for that to happen.
