Tired of not being able to find that rare amiibo? No need to fear! Our friends the counterfeiters have found a way to make the hard to find Nintendo toys with that oh so classic counterfeiter charm.

Almost as good as the real thing! ok not really.

I wonder how long it will be before Nintendo magically produces amiibos at a record pace now that there could be a cheaper option out there? And will the counterfeiters show Peach's underwear?

That's the real question. If they added NFC chips that work just like the real amiibos, then I could see people buying these just because they are cheaper and work the same as the real thing. I am sure that there will be some fringe Nintendo themed game site that buys some and writes a review on them.

I am not surprised, and I hope that these counterfeits do not flood eBay.

Why would they make the most common ones instead of the very rare ones?

Mario and pikachu are rare? Should have told me that before when I saw 20 of them...
