Could the new Zelda...

Be on a new console like a Wii HD or something completly new. Persinally I believe that the new console will be somewhere in the middle. Zelda Wii is not coming out next year and new console rumors say Q3 2010 or 2011 so the new zelda could very well skip right over the wii.I'd be chill with this what you guys think? would you be chill with that

Until more reliable information is available, I'm going with Zelda on the Wii, not the next console.

A Wii HD in the middle of this generation would be a terrible mistake. Leaving their second most successful console (and it's about to reach the NES and become their #1 console) with ONE Zelda game that is actually a straight port from their least successful console would be the most idiotic move in the history of video games.

Nah, the Wii will get it's one Zelda and then it'll go elsewhere until the next gen because that franchise just isn't strong enough to pull in buyers compared to what else they have

I honestly have no idea what Nintendo is going to do when it comes to Wii HD

All I'm willing to bet is that Zelda is in at least the Prototype/Alpha stages....

it'll be on the wii, and the current estimated date is too soon for them to hold it back for the next generation. besides, iwata blames the lack of quality software for the poor recent sales, so they wanna drop as many good games as possible, as soon as possible.BrunoBRS

when in the heck was that confirmed? I admit, both would be great to be viewed in HD (drools), but I don't remember ever hearing that

It's going to be crazy to seeNintendo games in HD though. I have a funny feeling that only "some" of their games will utilize HD next time around. Metroid, Zelda, and Mario.

I feel that most of their other games won't even try, because they cater to everyone... not graphics cravers. Wouldn't surprise me at all

No way. The Wii has yet to get a Zelda game - Twilight Princess was a Gamecube port - so it will definitely come out for the system.

Chances are it will come out for the wii, I can't really see them waiting to release it for the next gen.

I demand a zelda on the wii not some cheap gamecube port

I would not be surprise if Nintendo decided to go down this road because they did it for TP.

ahem mr smart guy but TP was ported from wii to gamecube, check the release dates, TP Wii came out in NOVEMBER 2006, TP Gamecube came out in DECEMBER 2006. This was done because Wii was oversold.

The graphics will be just fine on the Wii. I just hope this game has a good story, gameplay, and motionplus support.
