i connected the wii to my router and updated it...but when i updated it my internet on my computer doesnt work. and also...ive updated it twice so far and i hav the wii shop channel and the forecast channel but not the news one...and if i try to use the wii shop channel of forecast one it says i need to update. can anyone help me?

This sounds very, very odd... If you can't connect to the Internet after you update the Wii, you might have an IP address conflict in your network. Try reading your router's manual and see how to enable something called "DHCP", since you need that on to attach multiple devices to the LAN without manual assignments. Also, I wouldn't try to use any of the features like the Forecast or Shop channel until all the updates are done. Hope that helps! :)
