Tales of Symphonia was a badass, awsome game. I just wonder what plot will transpire.

I definitely am looking forward to this game.
Oh and by the way IGN has some news on what this will be about. From what I gather the combined world is still in chaos, and it's all Lloyd's fault. Well anyway I just hope this game will be good, breeding monsters doesnt sound too appealing to me, anything that's reminiscent of pokemon is a big nono for me
but it's an rpg, and it's one the wii will definitely need
[QUOTE="Cyber-"]TS2 looks like it has awsome gameplay with new monster system and real time elements but the visuals are not good. It runs in 4:3 which is so lame. Lunar52
thats nice
but for those who deo its a bummer besides that the game is on par with the first one.A dissappointment esp for what looks like Wiis big RPG.

Well its all well and good that you are in the living in the dark ages but the majority of gamers are likely to have an up to date television which is at least widescreen, and we don't want borders or stretched images :|. 4:3 ratio was lazy last generation, this gen its just plain sad.
The game will own though and I want, but I can't help but feel I will be comparing it visually to eternal sonata .

if you have good gameplay you should match it with the visuals
i JUST HOPE THEY IMPROVE IT BY THE TIME IT COMES OUT

I have a PS2 and have over 30 games and about 1 third of them are RPG's, i love RPG's, the classics on SNES, GBA, etc. i am planning to buy a Wii by this December, but I am worried about the RPG's becuz i am a fan of square enix and atlus. I have seen no good games or failing games becuz of the Wii's controls. for example the Dragon Quest games (i love the ps2 and snes, and gbc, and ds games but the Wii didnt appeal to me).
can someone help me!!!!!!!!!
The gamecube Tales game was simply amazing in my opinion. It's one of the few RPG's I had played through something like 5+ times.
If I had to choose this or Smash, I would choose Tales 2 no question.
Babinro
yeah I put a lot of hours into it to. Only 2 playthroughs though, the first one I did the basics and the second one I fought all 3 sword dancers, abyssion, sheena's random ninja fight, got kratos back on my team, did the entire mithos tower dungeon, did the crazy book level. Killing the 3rd sword dancer with Indignation Judgement is like my badass memory of the game.
