I agree with you man... WWF was cool and it still is cool even though it's called WWE. I really like the games the best was WWF Attitude on the PS1. No WWE game has Surpassed WWF Attitude. I really want a cool handheld WWE game like the Gba wrestling game with entrances that was soo cool.

I loved Attitude! But after Smackdown 2, I stopped playing wrestling games.

dont act superior. There's no harm in the DS having a wrestling game, you dont have to buy it. There's no sign of it yet, but i did hear that Def Jam might make its way to the DS.

The truth hurts, doesn't it. WWE Smackdown vs. Raw had by far the WORST online mode I have ever experienced. And vince's crappy planning w/ the help of moronic writers drove me away from the wrestling fad.
I've always hated all that WWF or WWE crap and the last good game simulating it that I played was on the C64 so I don't care, I know I won't buy it but THQ have just confirmed support for the future Nintendo Revolution console so I don't see why they would not release a wrestling game for DS for anyone who wants one. It makes for crap tv and most of the games are crap but they have the potential if they were done correctly. Maybe a touchscreen is what this kind of game needs.

I agree, but it's probaly inevitable, because they want to know how much of a demand for one there is, so will release one game, see if it sells, and then decide the future of the DS and Wrestling games.
I would love to see a wrestling game come to the DS. If it's anything like the THQ n64 games than it would rock. I know on IGN they have a Professional Wrestling (Working title) on the site which has online functions. So once I saw that I started to have even more hope for a WWE game coming to the DS. The DS would be perfect to bring back the old N64 style of THQ-AKI wrestling, and add some online in there, and you have yourself a hit.
after playing wwe smackdownvs raw 06 on psp i dont think anythign on ds that is wrestling could compare

I agree. The realism factor (which is what they've been striving to do since the first "Smackdown" on the PS) just isn't there for the DS. the flesh tones would look bad, the cutscenes for all the superstars would take up so much space, and the voices, "create a wrestler", Nintendo WiFi, etc. It would be total overload.
You don't want another "King Kong" on your hands ...and I don't mean King Kong Bundy. :)

No Mercy would be sweet! It could be online and they could replace oldies with new rosters maybe have some oldies as unlockables!
I hope they do release a WWE game for the DS it would be so great, but after playing WWE for the GBA im kind of worried that the DS version might cost the DS a lot of dignity. But if you can have ring entrances and grapple good ill buy it! :):)
No because to make aWWE  handheld game is to hard with all the moves the 3-D movement and the graphic will be as good as the Xbox,ps2 and gamecube.Darkstorm58621
If the wresting comes on DS i think it wont sell well.
The ds is mainly for kids and not adults. Also im sure it will be really hard to use. They would make a connection between the buttons and the touch screen and i think that that will be the downfall to the game if it is ever made
