What's your Mario Kart 8 racer score?

Just curious to see how much you guys, those of you who own the game, are playing it online.

I play it pretty regularly and just got to 4000. It amazes me to see people out there with 15000 + numbers playing.

just to let you know as soon as you reach 5000 they take you out of the noob races and put you in with the 7000 10000 big boys so be ready :(

I'm hovering around 1500. I lent it to my cousin a while ago and now all of a sudden he has fallen off the map.

That's good. I hate racing with a bunch of low leveled racers because if you don't finish the race in the top three or so you get docked a bunch of points. I'd rather race with the big dawgs so if I come in at the bottom I don't lose many or any points.

This MK is very different from the others in online because wins are much harder to come by. I can't dominate like I did in MK Wii for instance.

Agreed and I love the challenge however it's mostly due to everyone getting similar items who are around the same place. If you get mushrooms, chances are that people around you are going to get mushrooms as well which kind of makes getting the mushroom useless.

I want to say that my VR score is somewhere in the 1500-1700 range (pretty low, I know). I really do love racing online but I go in phases. When I have time to play for an extended period of time I don't always play Mario Kart. But when I do, I generally race online for an hour or so. I'm usually in the middle of the pack but have been getting better at the game.

I just wish there were easier ways to race online where it scored you like it does in the single player GP like Mario Kart DS did. It would group you with 3 other people and you would race them 4 races in a row and it would score it like a GP. I think the only way to do that in MK8 is to set up a tournament but I've never had any luck getting into one.

Either way, the game is still super fun.

If anyone is playing online late night on Fridays or Saturdays, that's when I'm usually playing.

It is around 6000, but I haven't played the game in a while - I will start playing it again when the DLC drops.

yup good observation....even at 4th place im leveling up faster than before and get docked almost zero for last place.
