How many games on the VC have already come out on another platform that is still readily available, specifically GBA. Super Mario Bros, The Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Xevious, Zelda: A Link to the Past and Super Mario World are all available for GBA. I know Street Fighter 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog are available for other consoles. Super Mario 64 is available on DS. Am I missing any? Let's see some of those classic games that haven't been rereleased yet, such as Punch Out and Paperboy and so many others. I want to play the games that I can't play anymore!

ALL games on the Virtual Console are re-releases

If you want the games bad enough and can't wait you can buy them right now this second, no need to wait for them to come to the Virtual Console

I really don't care and it shouldn't matter since not every has the platforms they were rereleased on and besides the vc is cheaper. Some people (like me) also rebuy them so they can have them on Wii.

Yea, but on the GBA version of Super Mario World, they screwed it up and messed with it, the VC version gives you a clean cut port. You're right about SM64. But rereleased games readily available in one compact console is the whole point, isn't it?

I forgot about that game! I would love to see Paperboy 2 from SNES on the VC.

Yeah i agree with original poster. Most of the sega games on the Virtual Consle are on this game called 'sega genisis collection' for PS2. The game is only 20 dollars with about 30 games on it and more unlockables. so 800 times 3 is already 2400. Id only have 3 games from Vc for 24 bucks. Now i could have all the games on the VC except for a few, for only 20 dollars. what a bargain. and besides most of the sonic games are on the sonic collections. And GBA had a bunch of  re releases

Most or all of the Genesis games on the VC you can get on GameTap, along with hundreds of other new and old games for only $5-10/month.

Um...you don't work for GameTap do you? You sound like a commercial.

NO I DON"T. I'm just saying many people seem to overlook GameTap. Really it is a lot better than people think and can save you a lot of money.

My post was in response to the person above me, who was saying how there were cheaper places to get the games than the VC.
