Told myself I was only going to get Toad, so naturally I pre-ordered all of them and the Mario Party 10 bundle.

I already pre-ordered the others except Mario.

I'm getting the Mario Amiibo bundle.

I kinda lost interest once they showed the same character in different sets. I may get toad since he hasn't been released before

Got all but Peach pre-ordered, as I've not been able to fine anywhere that's taking orders for her. I must say these ones look so much higher quality than the Smash Bros ones.

I just can't justify spending money on these... So, this is what Nintendo's going to do from here on out? Introduce a new Mario and Co. game and then a line up of figurines so people with uncontrollable impulses can spend more on toys than the actual games themselves? And we have the nerve to complain about DLC....

you dont have to buy man....this for all the collectors of figures and all things nintendo.

i mean cmon...splatoon, X, starfox, zelda....the games are still coming its not like people who hate amiibos are left out.

The only one I was interested in pre-ordering was Toad but I missed out. The hunt is the fun part anyway. I stood outside of a Toys R Us for 45 minutes in 15 degree weather today to get Lucario.

Glad you got one. I had pre-ordered him a long time ago. Just ran to TRU during my lunch break, picked him up, and was out of the store in 5 minutes. Pretty smooth.

Hope you get Toad as well. He's too awesome not to have!

I want to get the Toad amiibo for its function in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

@yokofox33: Thats exactly what my situation was. I was like I have all of the already but Toad.......then pre-ordered all of them and the bundle lol.

Hardly counts as DLC. Its not really any game changing content, and unlike DLC, you actually get a PHYSICAL thing to collect. It's a win win.

@JustPlainLucas: Nintendo has always made toy figures at this high price, but difference is these toys can actually do something and actually stand up. I remember buying the toy sets, Yoshi and few others couldnt even stand up. I only buy my favs for online play so i can get my costume, but you dont even have to do that, you can unlock all these figures abilities in game.

GOLD and SILVER edition Mario Amiibos!! Not sure how/where to buy them, though. The article says that they could/should be for Club Nintendo elite members...Or something.
