RUMOR: Earthbound Forever coming to Wii U

According to a leaked description on Amazon for February 2015's issue of Game Informer a remade Earthbound collection, entitled "Earthbound Forever", is coming to the Wii U in 2016. The collection includes all three games from the series, including Mother 3, which has been re-titled Earthbound 2.

So what do you think? Personally, while I'd love for this to be true, I'm taking it with a massive grain of salt. The idea just sounds too good to be true, the image also doesn't look all that legit, especially how it cuts out at the bottom, but who knows, we'll have to wait till February to find out. If it's real it'd be a day one buy for sure.

Hmm. Sounds like a great idea. I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo decided to do that. (Though 2016 is a long wait.)

Since I never played Earthbound, this would be a great way to start. Hopefully this is true but I'm not holding my breath.

Seems likely, given the recent interest in the Virtual Console release. I'd buy it.

EarthBound Forever coming to Wii U in 2016. If this is true it would be good and might help sales of the Wii U. Wouldn't there be a Nintendo direct on this soon?
