Wondering which games you all think are the best in the series and the worst in the series. I think it'll be interesting to see which games you choose and why your opinion may clash with others.

Of the ones that I've played:
Ocarina of Time > Majora's Mask > Twilight Princess > A Link to the Past >>>>>> Wind Waker > Skyward Sword
1. Twilight Princess
2. Windwaker
3. Skyward Sword
4. Ocarina of Time
5. Majora's Mask
6. Legend of Zelda II: The Adventure of Link
7. A Link Between Worlds
8. A Link to the Past
9. Legend of Zelda
10. Link's Awakening
11. Phantom Hourglass
12. Spirit Tracks
Note: I have not completed Oracle of Ages/Seasons, Minish Cap, or Four Swords - it's on my to-do list.
I am partial to the 3D iterations over the 2D. And I do love motion controls.
I know I'll draw heat for this, but Twilight Princess is the definitive Zelda title.
OoT
MM
SS
TP (If this thread was made during my initial playthrough, it would be close to last. The game sort of grows on you after playing it a few more times, especially going through it with a 3 heart capacity)
WW
LttP
Four Swords Adventure (GC version. Playing with other people, its worth bumping it up two spots...)
Spirit Tracks
Phantom Hourglass
seems like majoras mask and OOT get a lot of love. Good thing I just go t the new 3dsxl, I'll get around to those this year whenever I beat xenoblade chronicles for new 3ds and twilight princess (currently playing TP first zelda game xD)
But why is that you all's favorite Zelda game though? I just don't understand. My Zelda game is the best and you should all agree with me T_T
But you didn't give a list of your own!

Wind Waker is low on the totem, because of the sailing, dungeons triforce quest and it's not a complete game. Its one grace is that it does have superior combat over Ocarina and majora. And its pretty. :p
Ocarina is classic but it shows its age, and there's not much outstanding in its design these days.
Skyward Sword is outstanding at times, but the repeat item pickup animations and Fi are enough to lower the game. Add a bit too much padding, non connected world and a barren overworld (which I admit it shares with Twilight princess). Fantastic music, characters and art (though the Wii hurts it) but just has too much dragging it down.
Majora's mask is a classic, not much wrong with it although it is a tad dated and doesn't have the combat nuances of the newer games. Maybe they should've moved the project to the gamecube, gave it more content and a graphical overhaul instead of rushing Wind Waker. Shame we'll probably never get another Zelda game as unique as this one.
Twilight princess is the definitive Zelda experience. Not a bad dungeon in the bunch, great music, solid Zelda combat, nice atmosphere and 40 hours worth of core gameplay. Really, the only bad part to me is the ending with Zant being turned into a joke and Ganon stealing the show (though still epic). And I don't get what people have against the wolf, haha.
I don't like comparing 3D and 2D.
For now, I can only be bothered to think of 3D.
MM > WW > OoT > TP > SS
Just have to say that I still love SS. I just like other Zelda games more. Also, this list often switches order.
For 2D, it's something like AlttP > Minish Cap > ... have to think about it.
My favorite 3D Zelda: The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask
My favorite 2D Zelda: The Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds.
Both of them in the same system. 3DS rules!!
Out of those I have played:
I'm playing Minish Cap on the Wii U VC, but I haven't progressed far enough to place it in this list.

Yes I did. in 3 or 4 other rank your favorite Zelda game threads that were on this very board lol. I was trolling with this thread and people fell for it. Lol I'm gonna make another one of the same thread and title it different and see if people here comment in it again like it's the first time they seen this thread lol
I've played every one (haven't beaten the two NES games but I've beaten all the others) and my top three are as follows:
1. Majora's Mask
2. Wind Waker
3. Link's Awakening
Here is my breakdown:
Spirit Tracks and Phantom Hourglass were almost unplayable because of the stylus controls.
Skyward Sword was also a tedious mess because of the control scheme.
I would say Ocarina of Time is the most substantial-
Majoras Mask is the most interesting-
and everything else was pretty good.
