These days unless a big Nintendo Direct happens good Nintendo news is scarce on Gamespot so I wanna report on some of the things I find for the Nintendo community here on GS. It might start slow and light as I get used to writing blog post, but I hope I'm helpful to you.

Shantae and the Pirate Curse by Wayfoward

For those familiar with the series this is Shantae's latest adventure . Shantae has lost her genie powers and join up with her nemesis Risky Boots in order to save Sequin Land from a curse. Becoming a pirate she gets new tools and weapons to help her on her quest

If you're a fan of SteamWorld Dig then you'll be happy to know it's sequel SteamWorld Heist is coming to all platforms including 3DS/Wii U.Here is the teaser trailer I'll also provide a music video by Steam Powered Giraffe who is also doing the entire soundtrack for the game

how is this game? I've been tempted to check it out. Seems like a good lay in bed taking it easy type

Xeodrifter comes out for 3DS next Thursday! It's a metroidvania game that sounds and looks pretty awesome!

I too get great info from Nintendo life and one that is similar but has a little different take is Nintendo enthusiast

Well I picked up Pier Solar HD today. I haven't gotten into it yet though. I promised myself I won't get into it until I finish Captain Toad. I'm also looking at the Shiny Fly game. It looks to be a pretty interesting platformer. Or Unepic. I haven't decided yet. Its tough to decide where to go next on the eshop.

@bunchanumbers: I really wanna play Captain Toad, I saw a lets play of the first couple levels it is so worth it

I love the Toadette levels. By the end of them I was blown away. Book 2 is my favorite by far. Her last level was just... wow. Toadette quickly has become such a great character. The next NSMB game needs to have Mario, Luigi, Toad, and Toadette.

F Zero fans should keep an eye out for this game. Its not out yet, but they have a fantastic track record with working with Wii hardware and with Nintendo.

All we've seen so far are still pictures, but they look excellent. Also their other releases really show what is capable with the hardware. Check them out!

@bunchanumbers: Captain Toad is a brilliant game, I had not idea how much fun that game was going to be. For a puzzle game, it is technically flawless

There's a trilogy? :O After seeing the video on Wii U I'll have to take a look at them. I'm not really versed in the etrian odyssey games. Does anyone know what they're about? I see one for sale on the 3DS eshop and I have no idea what its about.

@bunchanumbers: Huh? no not Etrian odyssey. I mean Shantae, there's Shantae, Shantae Risky's Revenge and Shantae and the Pirate Curse

Ok! After doing some research the first Shantae game was a Gameboy Color game so it shouldn't be all that big. The second one is a DSi game so it might be bigger. But there's no way the 2 games together should be all that heavy.

I should also point out that the new Club Nintendo games are out. Included for Wii U are Kirby's Adventure 3 and the OG Metroid. Super Mario Kart and 1080 Snowboarding for Wii, and A Kappa's Tale, Kid Icarus, Bird and Beans, and Radar Mission for 3DS.

I have fire Emblem Awakening on the 3ds and I like it but I find it not as deep as Final Fantasy tactics. You have to think before you act because you may loose one of your troops forever if he/she dies. In FF Tactics you had to also plan your attack because a magic may take a few turn before it works and it can back-fire quite fast etc.

just bumping because I added to the first post. next ti'me I'll come directly to the forum for an update. I hope I can get a wii u soon then I could maybe post about the weekly additions to the eshop

oh great! Its a good idea that needs to happen. I have to go to other sites to get my Nintendo news. I bought Paper Monsters Recut the other day. Its a very charming game. I'd give it a 8/10.

An interesting tidbit I just read, for those of you waiting on Xenoblade X just so you know the game is so big it barely fits on the wii u disc so downloaders beware
