LIES! There was no NES Mario Kart. And no Virtual Boy Mario Kart.
I think it's a pretty safe bet that Nintendo is in the early stages of development on this game. They've brought it to every system SINCE the SNES and it's always a top seller. There's no way it'll miss this generation of consoles.

Come on! You're splitting hairs.  Why would they make an NES version of something they came up with during SNES times? And the Virtual Boy hardly counts as a console.
