lag in mario kart

anyone notice sometimes in some lobbys. it's harder to control your kart/bike? some turns you normally make. you just cant quite take it as sharply as you normally do?

i believe this is what lag is in mario kart. so its less apparant as something like fighting games were you can instantly tell.

its cool though...i switch lobbies when this happens.

i used to stay in those lobbies and lost over and over. not anymore...its not that i suck...its your fault lag.

Yeah, I've noticed it as well, but they're rare for me. Communication errors are common for me though. Not sure if it's my internet or if it depends on the lobby host.

ah communication errors before the patch i had them more often....ive only got like 2 since the patch.

I hadn't noticed it, but I wouldn't rule it out.

It's funny, but before the update i noticed no lag. Afrer the update i got quite a few matches with lag, can't remember if it was just 1 lobby or different one's though.

I've never noticed that. I was sure that the kart and track you see are handled on your console, then it sends that data out while receiving the data from other karts. Other karts and items lag all the time -- we've seen it since the DS -- but I've never noticed even a hint of lag in my own kart in any of them.

But I've only played five or six races since the update, so maybe it's different now.

it existed for me before the patch as well.
