$90 for a used Wii with controllers and no included games is too much.

Cut it to about $50 and you'd have a fair price, you can buy new consoles with Wii Motion Plus remotes for about that price, sometimes with a game packed on. Sucks doesn't it? The resale value on them really tanked the last year or so.

That's a steal depending on condition. The new wiis don't have gc compatibility, wii component cables are easy to find, and gc component cables can sell for over $100 on eBay. People that buy the model you have want it for this very reason. If your GameCube pad is in stellar shape I'd say you could even get more than that.

I wouldn't really say it's a steal. There are millions of Wiis that still have Gamecube compatibility. It really depends on the controller too. If its a first party controller that would help, especially if its a wavebird which sell for about $25-$35 used. At most $90 is fair and at worst it's a bit too steep. Gamecube functionality and controllers aren't really that important to most people too.

Yeaaaah you can get $14 Gamecube controllers at Gamestop, 7 dollar ones online, and you can buy three gamecube compatible Wii's at EZ pawn for 90 bucks lol.

To say nothing of the fact that you can buy a Gamecube on Amazon for $25, so the fact that it's a Wii with BC doesn't mean much.

Yes, it does, because with HDTVs today people want the best connection--component. The gc cables sell for around $100, give or take. Also, most modern tvs are ditching the svideo inputs so you either run composite, or svideo through an a/v reciever.

True, but the Gamecube wasn't that popular. Of course it had some great games but many people didn't bother playing them back in that era, let alone nowadays.

I honestly think the Wii would make a far better gift for a friend or relative than it would be worth selling.
