I think Gamespot was wrong about the release date, because I saw an advertisement said that the game was coming at February 7th, but now I'm confused because there's one player review for Assassin's Creed DS, take a look at the game's user score.

Go for Hotel Dusk! No matter how good Assassin's Creed DS might be, Hotel Dusk will be better. It's my second favorite DS game (behind the first Phoenix Wright).

Hate to be the guy who brings the bad news but Gamespot is not updated Assassins creed does not come out till march sometime. I only found out after I went by gamecrazy and they did not have it so I checked it on the internet and found the new release date. This is the fifth time I have gone to the story to get a game because gamespot said it was out and found that they are not up to date.Will47

yea supposing that the game did come out today, he said he beat it already so this guy was probably blazed when he was playing it, i mean DAMN thats fast!!red_sovereign

I don't know about you, but playing games under those conditions does not make me play games quickly. After crying when I lost a patient in Trauma Centrer, I gave it up while playing video games. Then I realized it actually made my video game progress r e a l l y s l o w.

Just to set the record straight, I did not write a "fake review".

I have not gotten it yet,but I've played thru Creed for 360 and I have faith that it will be an amazing one of a kind title for DS. I could be wrong. We'll find out.

hahahahaha!!! omg thats wild. everything is in slo-motion!! i played the original super mario bros "under conditions" and that was insane...i just keep laughing when he smashed the mushrooms. i was like "YOUR WASTING EM'"!!! yea play mario bro, its so wylie :D

im on the sewer adventure one. wow the game is pretty fun. items so far i have are hidden blade,sword grapping hook. Upgrade Sword Lv2. REALL COOL GAME!

Just went out and bought the game at circuitcity. Can't wait to play it.

Man I want this game to be good, but I don't really feel like betting $30 on it. I wish some professional written review would pop up.jrhawk42

As I posted on another topic:

Well, I got the game about an hour ago, and my first impressions are good. The graphics are excellent, although a little fuzzy. The dialog is decent, and the story is good enough to hold me, although it would probably be a bit more captivating had I played AC for the 360. The controls work well, although if you want touch screen controls, pick up LoZPH or wait for NGDS. These controls are almost purely button, although the touch screen is used for certain "mini-games", if you want to call them that. Battle is nice, with very nice animation. The frame rate is ragged on a lot, but I didn't really have a problem with it, excluding the opening cutscene, which had slight lag. The previously mention "mini-games" are the pick-pocketing, interrogation (and probably one other that I have not gotten to yet) interfaces. interrogation is like a dumbed down Elite Beat Agents, and I don't exactly know how to describe pickpocketing. Probably the only thing about this game that kind of annoyed me was that when you aquired a new skill, it didn't have a little sample-type thing immediatly, and you was or may not be forced to learn how to use a skill in a high pressure "I don't wanna die!" situation. Also, spikes kill you no matter what , whether you land on them or just bump into them, which was annoying in my opinion. All in all, I would give this game an 8.0-8.5. I would recommend it for sure.
