Forget Peyton's legacy, where does the Seahawks defense rank all time?

#2603 Posted by yokofox33 (29700 posts) -

This might be the worst team performance I've ever seen in a Super Bowl.

#2604 Posted by sfkm2 (67777 posts) -

This is a horrible SB ever. Do you know what this reminds me of? LSU vs Alabama when Jordan J. was QB.

#2605 Edited by PSP107 (11899 posts) -

@X360PS3AMD05:

Can you post a NFL version of those comic strips you do for NBA?

#2606 Posted by Chutebox (37230 posts) -

Bravo lol

#2607 Edited by monkeytoes61 (8361 posts) -

Ok, now it's over.

#2608 Posted by yokofox33 (29700 posts) -

Even the Jaguars would have a scored a FG at least by now.

I don't remember anything this bad. The Raiders team vs the Bucs were dysfunctional as hell but at least they put points on the board in non-garbage time

#2610 Edited by Silverbond (16052 posts) -

And somehow the Broncos were favorites going into this game...

Definitely belongs in the conversation with the 85 Bears and 2000 Ravens, especially since they are doing this in such a pass happy era.

#2612 Posted by Seabas989 (10284 posts) -

Broncos look worse then the Raiders did against the Bucs and the Giants did against the Ravens.

This is Buffalo Bills bad.

#2613 Posted by sfkm2 (67777 posts) -

Here's a good video for Manning.

That was an unfortunate matchup too. Gruden knew more about the Raiders than the Raiders did. He created Rich Gannon and knew exactly how to dismantle him. I think that team would have fared a lot better against anyone else.

I know you should never give up, but at what point do you pull Peyton? I wouldn't want to chance his neck getting blown up against this physical D when there's no chance of coming back.

#2616 Posted by joehult (366 posts) -

It's one thing if your team shows up, at least I can still wear my stuff the next day, but this shit, fuck it until September.

NO, I knew the Seadawks were gonna win the baweball ghamle before whatever. jcpenney. bitch.

#2618 Posted by LittleMac19 (1638 posts) -

Looks like Peyton took those tips from brother Eli to heart because the Seahawks also shut him out in that stadium a couple of weaks ago lol.

Comeback incoming

#2620 Posted by X360PS3AMD05 (36298 posts) -

Hahaha i don't make those comics, i wish i knew who did.............

#2621 Posted by sfkm2 (67777 posts) -

I can sum up this season. Some teams should of been in the playoffs and some shouldn't. Also. Records mean crap! Top in AFC but let the opponent create a new hole for you. 12th man can still kiss my rear end for all I care. This SB reminds me of Royal Rumble 14 except Manning didn't do this on purpose.

Did Brett Farve jinx Manning? Hmmm

I see you all in the NBA playoffs.

#2622 Posted by GamerForca (7094 posts) -

Lol 2-point conversion on some single-wing formation thing. can't remember the last time i've seen such a thing in nfl.

#2623 Edited by X360PS3AMD05 (36298 posts) -

At least we don't have to see the "bronco fans" come out of the woodwork in socal

#2624 Edited by JML897 (33125 posts) -

Denver's defense bloooooows, can't tackle shit

#2625 Posted by monkeytoes61 (8361 posts) -

The more complete team always wins. Almost every unit on our team is better and it shows.

Least sherman got hurt!

#2629 Posted by sfkm2 (67777 posts) -

Should of had Jim Mora Sr. in Broncos locker room before the 3rd QT. Again. NE vs Sea Even though I don't like the NE, should of been them. Again.

I hope NBA playoffs better than this. Oh wait. I forgot. Nvm.

#2630 Posted by Chutebox (37230 posts) -

@mems_1224: Hell ya! Got chills when they finally showed him

So who is MVP? My guess it's Chancillor, Avril or Harvin.

Maybe Russel Wilson if he threw another TD pass.

I'd say Harvin, but Chancellor is one of my favorites, so I wouldn't be disappointed if he got it.

#2634 Posted by Seabas989 (10284 posts) -

Tavaris Jackson is the MVP.

#2635 Edited by Chutebox (37230 posts) -

@monkeytoes61: haha

Percy or dude who pic 6 ed it should be mvp

#2636 Posted by mems_1224 (47148 posts) -

Manning should get MVP. He was easily the best defensive player today.

#2637 Posted by mems_1224 (47148 posts) -

#2638 Posted by X360PS3AMD05 (36298 posts) -

BUT ANSWER ME THIS, IS RUSSELL WILSON ELITE?

#2639 Posted by Bigboi500 (29945 posts) -

omg worst Super Bowl ever. By the third quarter almost everybody lost interest in the game and went home. Oh well, at least I won almost 5 large playing pass the cup.

#2641 Posted by yokofox33 (29700 posts) -

This is why I believe in Gus Bradley. He built that Seattle defense, and with the right players and good drafting, I think he'll succeed in Jacksonville. The players seem to love him.

#2642 Posted by Silverbond (16052 posts) -

@X360PS3AMD05: oh god you know that's going to be all anyone talks about in the offseason

Well at least the top 2 regular season teams represented the superbowl. Its too bad only one showed up today.

#2647 Posted by Seabas989 (10284 posts) -

Malcolm Smith MVP. Congratulations Seattle.

Meanwhile Skins stink and are in a regime change, the Capitals and Wizards are inconsistent, and I hope the Nationals live up to expectations this season.
