What games do u regret buying?

Far Cry 2. God, I played through the entire thing :? I'd rather eat a ground up, 10 day old dead badger on a really hot day than go through Far Cry 2 again.

In hindsight I would not have bought Unreal Tournament III. It wasn't bad but I'd had enough around two weeks later.

For me: Prototype... I bought for $60 bucks the day it came out, beat it in three days, and never touched it again.

The story was terrible, the characters were terrible, the bosses were terrible...

Loads of PSP games...mainly Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the blade. Probs the worst game i've ever played T_T

Actually...in a way LittleBigPlanet. Not because it's a bad game or anything, i just didn't have the patience for creating my own levels and just playing others got a bit tedious after a while. I enjoyed it for a while though.

Okami on the PS2. Bought it on release because I thought it looked really unique, but I just didn't get it.

Too Human. Picked it up last month for £5 and played it for about half an hour. Haven't touched it since.

Far Cry 2. It is rare that I regret buying a game, but that game... oh man :\

Too Human, Infinite Undiscovery, Mercenaries 2. Dear lord why did I buy Too Human? I hate that game with a passion.

Star Ocean 4, it was nothing like the 3rd one that's for sure:? If only i had known sooner i would have bought some diapers to put around it:P

The first two that come to mind are GTAIV and Kingdom Hearts.

GTA IV - Could not really ever get into that game too much and found it kinda boring. Spent most of my time just messing around with cheats and beating up people.

MW2 - The multiplier was more frustrating than fun, albeit it was addicting. Somewhat fond memories of destroying my friends though. The most fun I got out of it was when they got mad. When I felt cheated out of something though, whether it being killed by random luck, or just plain unbalance, total rage hit me. I remember being in parties with friends while they played MW2 and I played something else. Looking back that games frustrating.

World of Warcraft - This game took my life for half a year. Funny thing about it was I was playing on an awful computer so I could not even go to a main city without lagging myself so much that I would need to log out and go somewhere else with a better computer to get out of the city. Also it had broken sound system so I actually never heard a single sound of WoW the 6 months I played it. I would be just sitting in the dark at 4 am playing a game with no sound in my boxers. Sims 2 Double Deluxe - I just felt it was so boring. Managing a life was not fun at all and the only amusement I had was creating a house and people but that lost its novelty pretty quickly

Bomberman: Act Zero - I hate it Those are the main things that come to mind

Perfect Dark Zero for its abysmal singleplayer and especially The Godfather which has the worst gameplay of all sandbox games I've played so far (and that includes Just Cause). Totally misplaced health, facepalm AI that makes Need for Speed Most Wanted's AI look sublime, car control of GTA 2 is 10x better, the whole town looks the same and is dead (the whole city looks the same and there is nothing to explore), there are about 5 different vehicles in the game, besides the story you have nothing to da except for gang wars. Two things they did right was the cutcenes and the outfits. I shouldnt have bought it just because it has Godfather written on it.

I was also disappointed by Heroes of Might and Magic IV for not having any maps and having everything dumbed down in comparison to HOMM III.

Just Cause needs more variety. Also, words cannot describe how abysmal the cutcenes are. The story couldn't be more forgettable. The AI is an insult to the gaming world.

Oh, and the Club of course. They should have called it "The Shmup". At least I was able to finish it to put it far far away from the rest of my library.

Two mentions for Star Ocean 4, I really liked that game, better than most RPGs I've played on PS3 at least. It didn't exactly review amazingly though, but I thought it was better than FFXIII and Eternal Sonata. First SO I bothered to complete as well (out of 2, 3 and 4).

Anyway, most of my regretted purchases are considered to be among the better games by most:

Advance Wars: Dark Conflict (Days of Ruin) - I loved Dual Strike, but absolutely hated this. At least it was cheap.

Warhawk (PSN) - most of the time I can appreciate when a game is good regardless of whether I like it or not. I don't get how people enjoy this personally as I thought it played horribly.

Zack & Wiki - just not my thing really, and from the couple of hours I played, the motion controls don't seem nearly as great as people (particularly IGN) claimed.

Valkyria Chronicles - quite fun, but I got to a bit that was brutally difficult and I wasn't enjoying the game enough to keep plugging away at it.

Assassins Creed - massively overrated.

Oblivion - I enjoyed Fallout 3 to an extent, but absolutely hated Oblivion. I'm not that into WRPGs, especially ones that are basically PC-style games (I've never been into PC games)

de Blob - overrated IMO. Annoying how it constantly forces you out of the action to show you a new place you can go to.

Final Fantasy: Dissidia - hated the gameplay, and the story (for the time I played it) was awful.

Every WWE game I've bought since Smackdown 2 (maybe 3 if I'm being generous). Every now and again, after a few years, I try another, and remember why I shouldn't have done when I get round to playing the boring simness of modern wrestling games.

Pretty much every game I ever bought on the Gamecube, excluding Monkey Ball 1 (and to a lesser extent, 2), Mario Kart and F-Zero.

Patchwork Heroes (PSP) - I got this as the reviews said it was like a great evolution of the Qix formula, but personally it just made me want to play real Qix instead.

Wolfenstein 3D - when I bought it, I'd forgotten that old FPS games make me ill.

Just Cause 2 played the game for 30 min then quit uninstall.

Star Ocean 4 - Terrible voice acting, annoying characters, weird character models, weak story, bad dungeon designs...I hate everything in this game.

Metal Gear Soild 4 - Didn't like the story, and I have played all the games in the series. Also, there were too many dragging cutscenes, and very little gameplay.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII - Too easy (all you have to do is press X), the DMW modulation phase was annoying since it occured every five seconds during a boss fight, and the dialogue was horrible.

Dead Space. After all the positive reviews and hype, I was a bit annoyed to find that it's just an indifferent third person shooter with generic level design, horrible story, very little genuine atmosphere, and bland set-pieces. It was a major disappointment.

Quite a few, but the most recent that come to mind:

Star Ocean 4, Cross Edge, and Call of Duty 3.

Guitar Hero 3 (got it on the Wii, wish I'd gotten it on 360)

Left 4 Dead 2 (could've saved $10 if I'd bought it somewhere else)
