Does anyone know of a place to buy old SNES and N64 games around South Mississippi or Mobile, AL? i found a few places in the phone book, but they are all closed. I know you can just go on the internet and order them, but I'd buch rather be able to buy them relatively locally.

This. Also try flea markets. I've picked up some games in practically brand new condition for super cheap from some.

Somebody should make a sticky for this. You get like 1 of these threads a week.

If your looking for an SNES or an NES, you might not have many choices. It's almost impossible to find them these days. N64 you might find easier than an NES or SNES.

exactly. and a lot of the time they are asking about a particular city (which is asking a bit much for a site like gamespot that has people from all over the world)

you just gotta use CRAIGSLIST, EBAY, Amazon, Yardsales, and Thrift shops. If you want a good retro store, you have to just drive around town and see whats out there.

edit: and a "Car boot sale" sounds like what we'd call a "garage sale" or "yard sale" here i bet.

a car boot sale is really just the British version of a flea market.

I don't know of any places near where you live, with the possible exception of Play N Trade.

Just for future reference, though, a really good website for used games is www.lukiegames.com.

Flea markets have a ton of used video games. In my experience a lot of the big name titles, like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, and Metroid, will all more likely than not be overpriced. Every once in awhile you'll find some good deals.

I've been using ebay more often now for old games. I bought FFVI for $25, Rayman 2 for $5, and Jet Force Gemini for $5 (all of these include shipping).

I've bought stuff from them before. They also sell things through ebay. I bought a Sega Genesis composite cable from them for $5 awhile back through ebay... needed to upgrade from my RF Adapter:D

pawn shops-the 2nd best next to flea market thriftstores -not as easy but its possible i found a gamecube with no cables for 8 bucks i already have like 9 plugs and such so i grabbed it

yard sales -the rarest place to find!

online

ebay

craigslist

amazon

or in your local newspaper site /paper again rare
