When buying a new game, do you play singleplayer first or multiplayer ?

I usually play singleplayer and then play multiplayer. For once, I would like to see an FPS with a strong singleplayer focus. (And isn't named Half Life 2.)

FPS, racing games, RPG's , I always play single player first and after a while I jump into multiplayer. :) . Maybe it's because I'm old, I've seen a lot of young gamers, 18 and youngers jump directly into multiplayer as soon as they grab a game. :o Why is this ?

What are the young ones playing first ? and the old folks also ? :)

I never play the multiplayer I prefer the single player campains. I'm old and more about the story.

Well I play a litte single player first then a little multiplayer. Like a pattern.

I hate those annoying beginners who think they have to go online without even getting the slightest feel for the game beforehand. I also don't really enjoy displaying a complete lack of skill myself. To make it short: I don't just play singleplayer first, I also consider it good manners to do so.

Singleplayer. Always. I can't remember the last time I player multiplayer.
