Military shooters
Historical RTSs (I like most other RTS genres
Fighting games
Sports games
Aside from fighting games, a big turn off for me is realism. I like to be entertained (so generally prefer sci-fi shooters, for example) rather than take part in a simulation of real events.
JRPG's (both turn based and action)
Racing
Platform
Music (GH,Singstar,Defjam)
MMOs (except WoW, which also has become a shadow of it's former self)
About 90% of these AAA franchise titles. Let's see, the previous game was mediocre, the one before that was mediocre; oh but remember back on the PS2 when they had that one good game? The fact that they're just churned out to make profits on name recognition alone is bad enough. The fact that they're hyped up to the stratosphere is even worse.
And then there's:
etc.
Basically, games that were made to be played over and over again to be enjoyed.
-Multiplayer games
-Fighting games
-Racing games
-Sports games
I like games with a good single player.
Racing games, Simulation games and Sports games. I'm a basketball fan but playing basketball on a PS3 just reminds me how lazy I am.
MMO's are not my strong suit. I just cannot dedicate myself to a single game for the amount of time an MMO requires. No World of Warcraft for me.
Hollow shooting games
As an example this year this year all these known games leave me disiniterested: Max Payne 3, Resident Evil ORC, Resident Evil 6, Halo 4, 007 Legends, COD BO2, MOH, Dead Space 3, Splinter Cell Black List, & Borderlands 2. Quite a big list.
Also fighters, Downloadable games & MMOs.
If a game is too highly focused on being a hollow shooting gallery, looks uninspiring, or has lost its true indentity, i am immediately turned off.
I need variety, quality, & something that stands out in the games i purchase.
Linear story based games without much challenge don't really interest me.
Games like Batman Arkham City or Uncharted, while they look nice, are straightforward and any monkey can finish them if they have the time and/or patience.
I prefer a game that you have to work at to win - such as online FPS, fighting games, sports games and racing games.
Racing (digital sedatives)
Puzzle / Strategy(Portal, Catherine look boring imo)
Sports (nowhere near as good as they used to be)
Fighting (I used to like them as a kid, but even with friends, it gets boring fast)
Dance(trash all around)
Multiplayer (most are crap imo, but some co-ops are fun, if Starhawk was a free download, I'd play it)
FPS (COD, BF, Bioshock all look like crap imo but I am open to games like Dishonored or Skyrim)
MMO's(waste of money imo)
Games on the mobile, android, IP etc. In the age where games are becoming more and more cinematic, why would you reduce them to that size and sound?
Anything that is reflex based that doesn't require thought. I.E, basically most any FPS on the market. I can play these games for about 30 minutes at a time before I'm bored out of my skull. I need games that require some brainpower, foresight, planning, strategy. RTSes, games like Civilization and SimCity. There's a time and a place for all action, but to me it's never, NEVER as satisfying as the payoff that comes after putting in a bit of thought to get through something.
RTS (Except for the Warcraft series, but that's only because I love World of Warcraft.)
Modern shooters. Call of Duty, Halo, Battlefield, Bioshock, Uncharted, Gears of War, Killzone and so on...They're all the same damn game!!!!!!! Where did all the creativity go this generation!?!?!?!
Jrpg that aren't final fantasy or kingdom hearts have a tendency to bore the crap out of me. games like persona, disgaea, star ocean and many others just don't do it for me
rts
driving simulation... come to think about it any simulation type game bores me
multiplayer games
sports, except wrestling
anything from blizzard
U know, I never really liked racing games until I played Tokyo extreme racer zero on ps2. I loved that game. GT 5 isnt that bad either, just its so realistic that it can get annoying.Personally i have no interest for:

From what I've played, racing games that aren't arcade-styled bore the hell out of me. Gran Turismo 5 and Dirt 3 come to mind, and while I can't call them bad games by any stretch just didn't interest me that much. Some shooters that I've played have also felt really bland and didn't satisfy in any way. I'm not huge on sports games, and I quickly lost interest in those music games.SoNin360
LOL, funny that's my exact opposite feelings on racing games. I actually for some strange reason, can't enjoy arcade-styled racing games, w/ the exception of street-racing games, NFS or Midnight Club series. I suppose it's the amateur car enthusiast in me, but I love a bit more of a visually realistic look and feel to my racing experience. Growing in the South, (VA & NC) NASCAR was something I grew up watching so maybe that has something to do w/ it too,.
Other that don't grab me:
Military shooters
Some first-person non-shooter games (I hate faux-first person in games & I get disoriented very easily)
Mulitplayer mode (in games it don't belong in)
MMOs
Turn-based JRPGs (action or brawler ones are fine) -- which is funny b/c I actually like series like FF but I can't play them--I watch others do (strangely my dad was HUGE fan of them)
RTS
Generally, "clicky-clicky" games like Diablo 3, RTS games and a lot of 'traditional' MMOs tend to leave me bored out of my mind - I'm the kind that prefers joystick and triggers.
Other than that, I tend to be less interested in western medieval fantasy settings.
Games that have you playing drug-dealing, hooker-beating criminals and gangsters (e.g. GTA) turn me off.
Open-world RPGs don't often interest me - I got bored of Skyrim after completing the storylines. Fallouts 3 and New Vegas had me interested for a while, but the severe lack of characterization and engaging storytelling that seems to be a hallmark of Bethesda's open-world games was something I thought could have been greatly improved upon.
yep dancing games for sure.. and FPS war shooters (like come on be creative there are to many of them )
