What Are You Playing This Weekend? Skyward Sword Edition.

Plenty of stuff coming up over the past few days and in the horizon. Skyrim fever is in full force right now (which makes the fact that I still don't have it even more painful), but Halo CE remake got released this week as well and a lot of people are reliving or experiencing for the first time one of the best console shooters of all time. Also, of course, new Zelda game gets released over the weekend, so many people will be picking that one up.

As for me, I got tired of ramming my head against the wall with the NASCAR events in GT5, so I'll move on to greener pastures this weekend by finally picking up Skyrim and probably Halo CE. What about you, guys? Anything special you'll be playing this weekend?

I have a ton of games to finish, I'll play Halo some more along with MW3. I'd probably play Alan Wake DLC aswell.

Skyrim and zelda for me:)

Zelda. Lots and lots of Zelda.

Going to be a mix of mostly Skyrim and F1 2011 for me. Also some Forza 4 and Gears 3 MP in-between that. Waiting on some deals so I can hopefully nab SkySword, Halo CE, and Arkham City, which I have yet to pick up. There's a ton of good stuff out, but I can't afford everything at full price right now -_-

Halo Combat Evolved Campaign coop thanks to Dez for loaning me a 48 hour code! :D I was having a blast playing this by myself but coop should make things a lot more interesting.

Will also try to finish NFS The Run which is surprisingly fun considering all the negative press it got prior to launch (QTEs, 2 hour game etc.). QTE segments are very rare (I've only had two in my first four hours with the game) and are kinda awesome. And I'm not even half way done with it. There is enough variety in locales, drives abilities and game types to keep things fresh. And the story mode is actually fun enough for me to see it through the end. I didnt even finish 50% of Hot Pursuit before I got bored wiht it so The Run is doing at least something right.

And of course some Uncharted MP.

P.S Also wondering if Im in the right forum and randomly spoiling bits of Snake Eater to everyone.

Rayman Origins... Lots and lots of Rayman Origin. A perfect 2D platformer if I ever saw one. I'll be picking up my pre-ordered limited edition Skyward Sword on sunday, but I'm going to try and keep it in its box for now. My University courses always get so busy from now until December

I'm playing Uncharted 2, going for the platinum trophy. I'm hoping to get the playthrough on hard difficulty finished up by Saturday and get going on the crushing playthrough. Hard is hard enough, I'm not looking forward to being crushed :lol: Oh well I lived through crushing in Uncharted 1 and even sort of enjoyed it.

Been hooked on Dark Souls...pulled an allnighter on Skyrim last night, now I might take a little nap then get up and play a little more, itll go back on the shelf tonight though atleast until I finish Dark Souls

Crushing on U2 is a lot easier than U1. As long as you memorize the enemy placement, it is very doable.

Lazarab**** on crushing is a b**** though. Be sure to pump bullets into him, makes him go down a lot faster.

My copy of Skyward Sword won't be arriving for a couple of weeks (damn you, Wal-Mart, and your slow shipping!), so I'm focusing on Rayman: Origins. Fantastic game so far. Maybe try fitting in some SpaceChem, also. Haven't touched it since getting stuck on those puzzles a few days ago. Good stuff, though.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Wouldn't mind checking out Skyrim myself, but I haven't got the time to devote to it yet. It's driving me mad. Same with Dark Souls.

It was going to be downloadable (the original plan was to make it episodic, I think), but they changed their minds at some point. No idea why.

Probably Motorstorm Apocalypse. Although I usually don't go for Platinum trophies, I'm fairly close to getting it so I'm going to play that for awhile. Might play some Blaz Blue CT as well.

A mix of Rage, (which I finally got working after a week. steam launch issues, then blue texture problem) Skyrim, Saints Row The Third, and Battlefield which I'm sure I won't get to.

Uh, Skyward Sword. I shall also try and continue my journey through the Shivering Isles in Oblivion (thank you, 5th Anniversary Edition).

I will likely grab Skyrim off Steam tonight and that will be my weekend.

I just started my first playthroughs on both Saints Row 3 and AC Revelations, so I"ll be working on those two games. I'll also try to get a little quality time with Skyrim and Batman AC in as well.

I'm going to play some LBP2 and Disgaea 4 and probably a metric ton of Skyrim (which I'm picking up tomorrow).

This weekend, I'll be playing Battlefield 3, Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword when it comes out on Sunday.

Maybe finish the Section8 Prejudice campaign so I can get it off my hard drive (since the online servers are a ghost town.)

By tomorrow I should receive Blur, been itching to play the mp since I sold it.

I'm getting Skyrim tomorrow, so I'll do that until I have to go to work. Then I'll play it pretty much all day Sunday.

Not to be off-topic for a second, but does anything happen if you have a saved file that 100% sync from Brotherhood? Does anything transfer from Brotherhood to Revelations if you have a saved file that's 100%, in other words?

More Mass Effect 2. Bought it last week, finished it within like 5 days, and now I want to clean up all the side missions and try different things and maybe work on some trophies. An amazing, amazing game. One of my favourites, ever. Can't see myself getting bored - but Skyrim is awful tempting if I have the money..

I should probably also get back to Demon's Souls, haven't quite gotten into it yet [yeah, I know I'm two years late and a game behind the times, lol] but I like what I've seen so far.

Assassin's Creed Revelations mainly, with a little Gears 3 mixed in.

Skyrim mainly, maybe some BF3 or MW3 thrown in too. Wish I had a Wii so I could play Skyward Sword but I sold my Wii a long time ago :(
