No Amazing Spiderman 2 review?

Have i missed it somewhere or has Gamespot completely ignored the release of Spiderman 2? I cant seem to find anything about the game.

It's a movie-based title. What more do you need to know?

IGN did one. Unfortunately, it's a pretty mediocre title.

It's a movie-based title published by Activision. Even worse.

I dont think many of you guys understand, the first one to release was a full fledge spiderman game that was excellent, naturally there is quite a bit a hype behind its sequel, and truth be told they dont even follow the events of the movie, they go by their own story road. I still dont believe its 5/10, I will have to play it before I judge

These days, the term excellent is used very loosely when describing a game.

buy only if you are a massive spiderman fan otherwise skip it

Seeing some let's play and other youtube footage I can believe it. Apparently, Web slinging is inconsistent. Sometimes there is a requirement that you can only swing if there is a building or something to stick your web to while other times your webs stick to the sky. The game never tells you when the rules have changed either.

I can give you a review of Amazing spiderman 2 for pc

The Good:

- Decent combat almost a true copy of Batman
- Somewhat new and exciting spiderman web

The Bad

- Bad console port
- Terrible repetitive Side Missions.
- Weak Story
- Badly optimized for pc
- terrible graphics

I doubt anyone really cares about it other than hardcore spiderman fans. You might as well buy Arkham City if you want an awesome superhero game.

Also its a true movie game and confirms all the bad things we all know about movie games.

The first game suffered from this problem aswell, but it still pulled through for me. The game has some fun free roaming and nice side missions.

I played the first game also and honestly, that was not half as bad as this one, this is just bad.

I'm playing it now. I will reserve judgment until I've finished the game. I really like the first Amazing Spider-Man game and was really looking forward to this one.
