Most influential game character

Which videogame character do you think is the most amazing/ badass/the one you wish you could be/the one you wouldn't want to be on the bad side of/ etc... in a fictional life? Why?

Personally it would be either Altair or the Prince of Persia just because being able to do those acrobatics and fight moves would make my life a whole lot sweeter! LOL

In a month or two I'll probably post the top 10 on my blog or something like that...

So far POP and Altair are tied for first place!!(didn't see that coming, did you...)

I agree. Solid Snake. Many have either ripped off his look, his voice, or his whole game. I think more so than any other character in game history.
