But I guess Activision didn't pay GS enough money for a better score. It's nice to know companies are paying for higher scores now. I have to wonder if they are going to tweak the user score as well and make GameSpot a totally worthless site to visit anymore.

I don't think I'll be checking in as often now and I have been coming here for 10 years.

I was just making a point. Sorry for the confusion.

What bothers me most is where this kind of thing could be headed which is in no way in favor of the consumer (us) especially if it spreads to other professional web sites. That would basically leave us with Game FAQs for honest reviews. :(
