If you could combine 2 dev studios, to work on a game

Who would they be, and what game type would they make?

I would combine Vigil with Platinum Games for a action packed, Zelda-ish type of game. Vigil made Darksiders, Platinum made Okami. They would make an awesome Zelda type game together.

Or Ubisoft Montreal with Edios Montreal to make a sci-fi futuristic open world conspiracy/espionage fps game. Ubi=FC3, Edios made Dues Ex HR. Perfect combo for great gameplay and great story.

Capcom and SNK. To make SNK versus Capcom 2. I would say Capcom versus SNK 3, but Capcom is not a dev I trust, and the SF4/MVC3 style is just not as appealing as the delicious sprites of the recent KOF Titles. I would love to see brand new sprites in the KOF13 style for all the Capcom fighters.

ND(TLoU) + From Software(Souls)

They would be tasked to make a Star Wars title. They make the calls as to what is made.

Team Ninja(NG) + Rocksteady(Arkham)

I would love to see a 47 Roninesque game from this partnership.

Double Fine productions crossed with Capcom Vancouver. They could make a game about the zombie apocalypse in a Heavy Metal themed world. But leave out Jack Black.

Also, they should call this mash-up "Death Metal"

Bioware with the team at Square that made FFX

For me, I'd like to see Rocksteady and Retro pair up. I can think of no developer more talented than either of these two studios right now. They just understand the medium so well and produce some of the most detailed and meticulously crafted products I've ever experienced.

They've both shown they can do wonders with existing IPs (Metroid, Donkey Kong, and Batman) so I wonder what they could produce with a new IP.

Rockstar and Telltale on a new GTA and LA Noire where moral choices matter and the story is more than "Trevor, Franklin and the last guy"

Also Telltale and Cage on a new Heavy Rain/Beyond game

Yes, that would be a fantastic Star Wars game.

And I would also combine Namco Bandai (Tales of) with Level 5 (Ni No Kuni), they would make the best rpg ever. And I do mean ever.

Heh. Naughty Souls. A game about ghosts that are extremely mischievous and then you have to exorcise them. I'd play that. ;)

Naughty Dog and Rockstar to make and completely openworld version of TLOU.

Unfortunately this would mean the end of the gaming industry altogether as every gamer would only play this one game, thus rendering all other games and developers obsolete.

So on second thoughts best not.

I would also. I would buy a game in the Harry Potter verse from them as well.

Square enix and Obsidian, Let Obsidian write the characters and story while Square Enix create the world and the basic of the combat.

and my other combo is CD project red and .. oh they dont need another company they are just perfect <3
