I'm wondering if anyone knows how the financial aspect of the EA Partners program works?  The devs have to finance the game themselves, but EA just finances the publishing/distributing, afaik.  But I'm more curious about the sales money.  Do the devs pay a flat fee to EA to be in the program and that's it?  Or does EA get X% of sales revenue?  Both?

Thanks

Come to think of it, looking up for the terms and offers by the EA Partners program via the Internet is surprisingly difficult for me. There is not much of anything on the policies for EA Partners on Electronic Arts' own site either.

I suppose that this information is only given to interested would-be partners, who probably have to promise not to divulge it.

That said, there is an upstart engineering company by the name of "EA Partners" - there be incoming legal fracas over naming. :P

Certainly no mention of video games in the banner above.

They're still acting as the publisher in those partnerships, yeah? I'd think they would get a small cut of every sale then, as per usual.
