Cell Phone Games

I was wondering, and I hope I'm posting in the right place, if I would be able to get a game for my cell phone that is not in my cell phone carriers list of downloads. I was wondering if that things you see on TV, the Internet, ect. would work when they say text such and such to get this game or ring tone? Would that work on any service or are there exclusions there also? guitar Hero is the mobile game I was after, and my service is U.S. Cellular on a SLVR Lc7 phoe if that matters. Thanks for any help.
