Yes I did mean GBA... slip-up form the GCN game before it. The Ace Combat 6 was from the reissue that they did for Best Buy. SOme stores still have them in stock and they have them for$99 now...get them while they last

It's been awhile, eh?

Well, I have been picking up games. 

Eternal Poison (PS2)
Persona 4 (PS2) with artbook and Amazon-exclusive goodies.

Both games were pre-ordered, but since I didn't want to pay for shipping I told them to ship both at the same time. They decided to ship me Eternal Poison a bit early, but not early enough. I didn't get the art book. Must have been sold out.

Then they delayed my Persona 4 shipment for some reason, and I only ended up picking it up a few days ago. Great game though, and the art book and bonus stuff makes it even cooler. I just wish I had gotten my Eternal Poison art book. That was the only reason I pre-ordered. :(

Aside from those two PS2 games, I bought a crapload of games off of Steam. I'm feeling a bit more comfortable about digital distribution, but it's still not going to completely replace retail PC games for me in the foreseeable future. Most of the games I bought from there are download-only games (where else am I going to get them?), Valve games (which might as well be download-only), and games that were hella cheap (I can't pass up a bargain).

Amen to that. Apparently Square Enix are publishing P4 in Europe... which might create a bit more of a buzz, who knows? I've been searching for a UK pre-order for weeks now with no luck though :( Few retailers are going to be stocking many new release PS2 games by that point, I hope it isn't too hard to find :?

Yeah, least the price won't be too high though. And true about shops selling PS2 games, I tried 2 GAMEs, 2 GameStations and a GameZone to find Persona 3 FES and there were barely any new PS2 games in any of them, I think it's gonna have to be an Amazon pre-order for this one :)

I hope Square's publishing it creates more of a buzz for it in Europe as well, if they can sell Unlimited Saga for real money because Square-Enix is on the box surely it'll at least drum up some interest from the casual RPG player :)
