This glitch makes no sense.

I have experienced it too. Its incredibly annoying for some reason

I have this issue too. I thought someone hacked my account and read every single thread.

I can confirm that this bug is occuring for me as well.

At first I thought the forums just weren't getting much traffic, but now I can see it is a bug. It is a bit annoying.

It's happening to me as well, exept that for a little while (5 min or so) all the threads got bold, including the ones that I had read. Now it's back to the "regular" glitch.

I am seeing this too. I would say that it appears to occur for threads that have just been opened, if someone hasn't mentioned this already.

Sometimes if some of us aren't experiencing a glitch it might be helpful to see what is different about the account and maybe make some workaround changes on our end for the time being.
