Yeah and then they can't afford to run this site and it closes down and you continue to whine like a little bitch (for obvious reasons). In case you didn't know, advertisements is what helps this site keep going and pays for all these nice little features you and I get to use.
Now now @BattleSpectre and @logreviews. @Chico86_basichas a point, some of the ads on the site can cross the boundaries of what can be considered tasteful/traditional. I know from time to time we'll get annoying auto play audio ads that appear (which shouldn't be the case) so it's important to know what the ad experience is like.
Chico86: Do you have any specific qualms with the content that is being served? Any details that you could provide would be amazing.
Guys, I think you seriously missed the point. I'm not against ads on sites that provide free content, but did you actually saw the GameStop one? Nothing wrong with the trading campaign, but did they actually had to mention what kind of goods some aleatory dude traded in? How much is Sony paying for that? lol

@Chico86_basic: Well actually, not everyone gets the same ad. For example many of the inpage ads I get are related to Ru Paul's Drag Race (I'm going to assume you're not getting those). I believe that they have to do with your browsing history. Also, the primary ad I've been seeing has been the Watch Dogs ad (again, because I've been looking at a lot of Watch Dogs content). How often do you encounter this ad and is it the only ad you see or have you seen others?
No big deal. The fault is not exactly on GameSpot side actually but on the content of the ad by GameStop. Just wanted to express how I feel about it I guess.
